THE FOUNDATION

The Tiger Eye Foundation is a media non-profit that uses a dynamic set of initiatives to promote and elevate the standards of journalism; to educate and support those poised to make important contributions to its future.

Using investigative journalism workshops, multimedia boot camps, investigative productions, broadcasts and community outreach programs; we work to make sure journalism remains a force for good in the development of the societies where we work.

With origins in impactful investigative reporting, forged by two decades of work by founder Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the Tiger Eye Foundation operates on a philosophy of shining light on the dark spots in our society in ways that will ultimately engender positive change.

We collaborate with governments, citizens, corporations and civil society organizations that share a common belief that the collective safety of humanity hinges on the actions we take in our own ways – no matter how small.

OUR ROOTS

Using the principles of investigative journalism, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has pushed the boundaries of journalism towards the development of society and advancing the cause of citizens in sub-sahara Africa.

Based on this storied history of success in undercover reporting, the Tiger Eye Foundation was established to promote the standards of journalism which plays an important role at the intersection of people and policy.

Lauded internationally by former US President Barack Obama, former U.N. Chief Kofi Annan for using courageous journalism to strengthen systems, the work of Anas Aremeyaw Anas is critical and relevant in Africa and beyond.

The Tiger Eye Foundation is established based on models that seek to teach, collaborate and work with journalists and citizens across Africa to impact society in a progressive way.
